i fall asleep faster if he is in bed with me. he waits 15 minutes after i fall asleep and then he gets up and does his stuff. he has found that if he gets up sooner than about 15 minutes, i will wake up. sometimes he falls asleep but usually he gets up and does his own stuff for a few more hours before he goes to bed.

apparently during the cookout a basketball hit the neighbor's older daughter's bf's car. broke the mirror. well i really DONT think it was from us, since we only had 3 year olds playing. i also think that she could have asked her daughter to NOT PLAY in the backyard for ONE FREAKING EVENING while we were there, but whatever.
i think they were able to fix it because i saw the car last night, i feel like she should have called as soon as she DID fix it, but again, apparently whatever.
my mom thinks i hate her bc she sucked so badly on saturday. she didnt take caleb to his lesson, she didnt CALL anyone, including me or jennifer. didnt come to the party. didnt have a gift ready for me.
i understand you have health problems and no money, but effort counts for something.
and she has plenty of money to spend on those fucking birds.
ugh
but barring the car and mother issues, i did have a good birthday. we had SO much fun at the cookout!
Zach/Sara brought xman and pman. parker didnt seem to have the BEST time, but he has been a little grumpy lately, but still a sport! xander did have a good time though :) lots of laughing!
mike/leasa brought torin who also had a good time and got a balloon at the end!
my next next door neighbors tom/Michelle brought their boys TJ (same age as xman) and Charlie (same age as Parker, just 3 months older or so) and they ALSO had a good time
Adam and Charlotte brought Marshall, who is ridiculously cute, and is getting more hair with every day. at 1 he couldn't play with the big boys, but seemed to have a good time. liked the cake i think!
plus Jennifer came, and brought Tom and Austin. Austin was the oldest, because he is over 3, and DEFINITELY the toughest. and he Definitely had a good time :)
so yeah, even with the minor fallout, i had a great time. Justin hadn't been feeling well but he rallied forth to do the grilling and the food was great! we had burgers and dogs and chicken and pork ribs and Ratatouille!
justin got me new leg wraps, omg so pretty plus, a cheese cutter! which i love, i hate cutting cheese with a knife.
i got new bath towels from z/s which are super pretty, a nice off white :)
also a pizza kit from adam/char which we will probably make on friday i think
justins mom might come for dinner tonight, and we are making venison (with or with out her) and tuesday is jennifer coming over.
i am house sitting this weekend so no riding, which is sad, but i did go help jennifer at the farm last night, and since i was a bit agitated about the whole car thing, a little manual labor DEFINITELY helped.
so thats it for now. seriously, thanks for all the bday wishes :) they perked me up each time i got them!

that is starlit, and i had a lesson on her today. it was freaking AWESOME. completely awesome
there was the regular part of the lesson in which i had to make her canter and stay in control and yeah TINY CORNERS it was awesome
THEN toni got on errol and yeah that was pretty fabulous. she just walked him in the arena to cool him out but she was pretty psyched.
then we jumped!!! that was pretty FREAKING AWESOME!!!! starlit is so powerful. it felt like we were FLYING over the jumps
i also got to babysit xander today because he got pink eye. hence, no daycare. but both mom and dad had an important meeting. so i got to hang. it was SUPER FUN. he is a good kid :)

i was adult reserve champion and open games champion (tied with delaney on that one) and yeah, FREAKING AWESOME.
i finally have most if not all the cruise pics up and yeah, it was so much fun. SO MUCH FUN.
i had a crappy day on monday, so i didnt do an excited OMG I WENT on a cruise post, but yeah, it will be coming.

I recently read an article in the Laconia Sun that said that you voted against possible legislation for Gay Marriages and Anti-discrimination laws for transgendered people.
I just wanted to say that I am shocked and horrified that you would do that. I feel that as a community and a state we should stand up for ALL people in our state. Everyone should be treated equally and be given the same rights. Part of the article quoted you in saying that NH is not ready.
I disagree with this. I think we are ready and I think we should be able to look back on the history of our Nation and be able to say that New Hampshire was part of the fight for equality for all. Not one of the stragglers to given everyone equal opportunities.
If you feel that Gay Marriages are not the way of it, that is fine. But I would disagree with you. (Although I think an excellent way for you to work around your own feelings and to change the way things go would be to separate the concept of marriage and civil unions. Put marriage back into the church and create the concept of a civil union for all, and a marriage just within a church. Obviously, everyone is going to keep calling it a marriage but by definitely everyone would be able to get a Civil Union, which would afford them the rights of the current marriage concept, but then within your church you could be married by a paster/member of your faith).
This issue is important enough to me that I felt the need to write to you. I really hope that you change your mind on this issue and become more open-minded as my representative.
