So today was a GOOD day. i didn't want to wake up, but I am so glad I did! I had a great morning at the stables. Jennifer has been a little down. Just stressors from running a small riding facility with an open arena in the winter. she is so busy in the summer that the change from summer to winter is always hard on her. So when Sara and I go to see 27 Dresses tomorrow night, I told Jennifer I would even pay for her ticket if she would like to go! It really cheered her up. Just a fun chick flick movie night with a few chicks.

In between working at the stables and my ride I cleaned my room. I got pictures HUNG (i know, wow!) and then moved the bed to the opposite wall, got rid of two pieces of furniture that I had gotten from the store. Ugh, I HAVE to stop taking stuff from the store to use for furniture. So now I have SPACE in my room. It is insane. I have the room roughly set up in the setup I want it to be in when we leave.

So then, Caleb and I go to our ride. He is riding Errol Flynn again, and because Jennifer sold Wyatt, I rode April. She is a beautiful Quarter-horse, smaller than Errol (and Wyatt), but still a good size. She only seems small because Wyatt and Errol especially are over 17 hands. So she is small to them, but still a larger horse. She is also really sweet. Stands still, lifts her feet well. She was a little annoyed when I did the girth, but nothing special. She is very... peppy. She goes right into a fast trot, and during the lesson even cantered. But omg her trot, it was great. It was a little nerve wracking, trying to get her to be controlled, but I was able to do it for the most part. The first time she cantered, everyone thought I looked really good, and really enjoyed it when Jennifer asked me how I was doing, and I just said, "I am pretending not to be nervous." (Which is what I do every time I canter). But Jennifer, Sam, AND Deb said I looked really good! When she cantered the second time, it was a bit more nerve wracking, so I did make her stop sooner. This was the first time I had cantered since we got snow, and the first time riding April, let alone cantering her!! It was a really good lesson for me though, and Caleb did REALLY well on Errol. He did all the prep and grooming by hisself and did a good job, and listened really well overall during the lesson. Had a bit of trouble getting Errol to trot, but still did a good job.

Tonight I took a shower and put leave in conditioner in my hair. I might try to straighten it tomorrow, look out! Then since dinner, I have been working on organizing. I got a bit more sorted, and what I want to keep or trash. I also found a picture frame (from 1973) and I took all of my lilac photos, cut them up and put them in that. it looks AWESOME. I left the "snap shop, insert your favorite photos" ad in, and did not cover it up, because i like that it says the date on it. I would like it to be in a frame instead of the current tab things that are holding it together, but hopefully I will find somethign for it. I love the faux wood. Really classy.


I moved the desk so that when you sit and look left, you look right out the window. harder for molly to sleep on the sill but this way the lamp and light are right next to the bed and the outlet.


Apparently, even since our convo on Tuesday with Tammy, the mortgage specialist, mortgage rates have lowered. Deb (from the stables) is a real estate agent, who works with Tammy actually), and she said to always ask, "is that the best you can do? can you go any lower" and she said we could even drop her name, but that even though our rate of 5.5% was low, rates have been as low as 4.5 and may go into the 3%'s
CAN YOU IMAGINE A 3.5% MORTGAGE!!!!! omg.

though on the same side, how sad is it to be excited over a mortgage rate. hehe


I am so excited about this. I can't wait to have my mail and justin's mail sent to the SAME PLACE. we will own our own home. I am just so excited. :)


again sorry i have been so craptastic with being online. I hope to be better and to be better with Bookembargo. I might even do a review of DiGiorno's Pizza, because yeah, it REALLY is as good as delivery.
