So Zach did a post about the death of Tim Hildebrandt. He was an amazing illustrator (think LOTR and early spiderman). There was no Wikipedia entry about the brothers (very surprisingly) so Zach did a post highlighting their work and referencing the fact that Tim passed away.
I only heard about it thru
kradical who as we all know, is very present in the sci-fi world. So zach did his post, and i commented, just saying, hey and i pointed it out to you, go team me.
then..
:-/ another comment under mine.
Jenny says: “yeah! i was the first to tell someone that somebody else died! i am the greatest blogger evarz, with the lamest domain name evarz! all b0w to me in honor of my lameness and insensitivity to someone’s death! keep your eyes open, folks, because next i’ll be bragging about my quick uptake on the deaths of YOUR family members! awesomezorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzor zorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorzorz orzorzorzorzorzorzorz!!!!111!11111!!!11! ”

Didnt even leave their name. not very nice :-/
Zach's post is over here at Nosheep.net if you care to read about Tim. Zach, as a youth, had their posters because of the spiderman connection, though I only knew the brothers through their Tolkien illustrations.
so yeah, i dont think my domain is very lame :( there is a fun story behind it
and its a better one than "some guy".
it wasnt even the wandering pig effer or anything :(
whatever.
If the Hildebrandts ever read this, I am of course sorry for your loss. Personally and professionally, I am sure that he will be very much missed. It is somewhat reassuring to know that his illustrations have influenced so many people and since to many the LOTR are one of the greatest books (is one of the greatest books? even though there are 3.. is?are?), and he was part of the team that brought it to visual life.
AND THAT IS WHY ALL ANONYMOUS POSTERS MUST LEAVE THEIR NAME
