Roscoe went to the vet today. He got bloodwork done and an Xray.
He weighed in at 44 lbs. His chest was a mess, the vet said that we could do a tap, and belly pregnancy thing that i never remember the name of, but all it would do would be to cost money and name the fact that he is dying.
He is officially allowed to eat whatever he wants, and when he is no longer happy, and is in pain, he will be let to run free over the rainbow bridge.

He is a 15 year old springer, but he has no idea he is 15. He is up there on the greatest dog ever list. :-/

He does HOWEVER LOVE LOVE LOVE the electric blanket!! and he liked the potroast for lunch :)
I might call the vet and see if a nausea drug would help. we will see.


In other news, slightly more uplifting, Louise Marley, (www.louisemarley.com) has come out with a new book that sounds AMAZING, with one problem. the 3 previous books in the series are almost out of print

I also asked recommendations for copies

I have read 2/4 of her books, and hope to catch the other two soon, plus this new one and her 3 oldies

Tomorrow is stables, then helping toni with cookies and hopefully jet off to Concord (conkerd not con CORD, silly non new hampshirites) for some last minute xmas shopping ( i have to go to EMS) and then friday ill be decorating the house for xmas and cleaning, and then saturday, work and Sunday XMAS!!!


also, at the bookstore we have older men, that we all love. Sid Lovett is everyone's favorite, and Mr. Smith (he wears a 3 peice suit with hat every day) and Mr. Kingsbury is my favorite :) he has REALLY started to come out of his shell lately, called me princess last time! Plus when i called saying we had his books (Ina Marten's Guide to Childbirth and everyone HAS to have this book he says) he was sooo friendly!
